Netgear MBR624GU – Wireless 3G Broadband Router
I am eagerly awaiting delivery of a Netgear MBR624GU 3G Wireless Broadband Router.
It’s a brand new model that has supposed to have been released in the UK since late July. Now apparently should be available early September.
It’s wireless enabled, so your WiFi laptop should connect to it quite happily with all the usual security features.
You can connect a 3G USB dongle to it (as long as it’s supported) and connect to the internet completely wirelessly. This means that multiple users can make use of your 3G connection. Ideal if you have several colleagues in a hotel where usual broadband connection is not available. Or where you are unable to get ADSL connectivity.
Once I get my hands on one of these, I’ll write up a review here.
